Poor little guy, all he knows is that playing on the stairs is a lot of fun and just doesn't get why in the world he would end up in time out for it. lol
My grandson, my life... This beautiful little boy who is my biggest hero and inspiration, has taught me so many incredible lessons in life. Patience, compassion, kindness, understanding, and most of all complete and unconditional love. This sweet little miracle that almost wasn't, he is all that is good and right in this world and I wouldn't change him for anything. Oh how I long for the day when society stops treating differences as dreaded diseases to be cured, and starts embracing them with all of their might. Oh the places we could go, and the mountains we could climb...
My only hope with this blog, is to show the world that Autism isn't something to be afraid of or shy away from, but to be marveled and celebrated. And that everyone who comes here, will walk away with just a little bit more acceptance in their heart for people that might be just a little different from them.
